Dear Potential New Member,

War Eagle and congratulations on your acceptance to Auburn University! My name is Shelby Saunier and I have the absolute honor of serving as Tri Sigma’s Membership Recruitment Director this year. The next few years will be some of the most exciting times of your life. With changes, opportunities, and new friendships on the horizon for you, it is my hope that Tri Sigma will be a part of your new family here at Auburn.

With the fall semester quickly approaching, I encourage you to participate in Fall Formal Recruitment. Recruitment can be overwhelming and intimidating but know that every chapter on our campus is so excited to meet you and find the perfect fit for you! Let your personality shine through, have an open mind, and allow one of the many chapters at Auburn to sweep you off your feet. Every sister you meet at Tri Sigma will show you her own experience and what our sisterhood means to her.  I assure you that my sisters and I have been hard at work all year preparing to show you all Tri Sigma and the Panhellenic community at Auburn has to offer. The opportunities offered to us through our involvement in Sigma have been endless and invaluable. Seeing each of my sisters grow and become an empowered woman is an experience I would not trade for anything in the world, and I hope to share that with you this fall.

Dear Potential New Member,

My name is Jillian Byers, and I have the honor and privilege of serving as this year's Vice Membership Recruitment Director. My role in this position is to help assist our Membership Recruitment Director in ensuring that all potential new members have the best experience possible when they meet us during recruitment! It has been such a blessing to help prepare our chapter and get ready to meet PC ‘23.

We cannot wait to welcome you into our chapter with open arms and show you a glimpse into our sisterhood. During my own recruitment last summer, I felt all the emotions of being nervous, excited, and curious about what was to come out of it. The girls in Tri Sigma calmed my nerves right away and made me feel welcome. My goal is to make sure all Potential New Members feel as loved as I did in Tri Sigma during recruitment. Being a part of Auburn Panhellenic has changed my life in the best way possible, and brought me my closest friends. All of us here in Sigma would love to be there by your side through your upcoming years here at Auburn!

PC ‘23, I am so excited to get to know all of you! I know the transition to college can be difficult, but you will not have to do it alone. Being from out of state, I struggled to find my place here at Auburn, but the love and support that the girls in Tri Sigma showed me reminded me that I was never alone, and now I absolutely love this school. My sisters have become the ones that I have my favorite college memories and spend all of my days with. I would not be the woman I am today without Tri Sigma! Sigma Sigma Sigma is filled with loving, faithful, and wise women who embody what it means to be a Tri Sigma woman. They inspire me to be better every day, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the sisterhood and friendships that I have found.

My biggest piece of advice is to have an open mind while going through recruitment to see what all of the amazing sororities here at Auburn have to offer. I hope that you are just as excited as we are about Recruitment, and we cannot wait for you to find your future home here in Sigma Sigma Sigma!
